WELCOME TO THE TOWN OF GENESEE

Located in southwestern Allegany County, NY, the Town of Genesee is a historic community founded in 1830. Welcome to our website! Here you will find information about the town government and its officers and officials.

TOWN HALL HOURS OF OPERATION:

Town Clerk: Tuesday and Wednesday, 9am-4pm; Thursday, 12pm-6pm
Assessors: Wednesday, 4-6pm
Court is held every Thursday beginning at 5pm, and District Attorney night is every third Thursday of the month.

Regular Town Board meetings are every third Tuesday of the month at 7pm.

The Town Hall is normally closed on all major holidays as well as the day before Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Eve.
